Montfort Method Four: Glorious Mysteries

I've inserted Douay Rheims Bible verses (gleaned from the Summa Theologica and Summa Contra Gentiles of St. Thomas Aquinas, and also from The Glories of Mary by St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori, and one on the Assumption from the website of Mr. John Salza) for better reflection on the Mysteries of our Redemption. Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary and St. Louis de Montfort, pray for us poor sinners, now and at the hour of our death! Amen. Method Four from here.

†In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Faith in the presence of God.
Faith in the Gospel.
Mark 1:15: The time is accomplished and the Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe the gospel.
Faith and obedience to the pope as Vicar of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 16:18-19: "And I say to you: That you are Peter; and upon this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give to you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. And whatsoever you shall bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in Heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth, it shall be loosed also in Heaven."

Our Father: Unity of one, living and true God.
Deuteronomy 6:4-5: Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord. You shall love the Lord your God with your whole heart, and with your whole soul, and with your whole strength.

Hail Mary: To honor the eternal Father Who conceives His Son in contemplating Himself.
Hail Mary: The eternal Word, equal to His Father and Who with Him produces the Holy Spirit by Their mutual love.
John 1:1-3: In the beginning was the Word: and the Word was with God: and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him: and without Him was made nothing that was made.
Hail Mary: The Holy Spirit Who proceeds from the Father and the Son by the way of love.
Revelation 22:1-2: And He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street thereof, and on both sides of the river, was the tree of life, bearing twelve fruits, yielding its fruits every month: the leaves of the tree for the healing of the nations.

Glory be...
O my Jesus...

The Resurrection
We offer Thee, O Lord Jesus, this eleventh decade in honor of Thy glorious Resurrection, and we ask of Thee, through this Mystery and through the intercession of Thy holy Mother, love of God and fervor in Thy service. Amen.

Our Father: The eternity of God without a beginning.
Exodus 15:18: The Lord shall reign for ever and ever.
Psalm 73:12: But God is our King before ages: He has wrought salvation in the midst of the earth.
Micah 5:2: And you Bethlehem Ephrata, are a little one among the thousands of Judah, out of you shall he come forth unto me that is to be the ruler in Israel: and his going forth is from the beginning, from the days of eternity.
1. Hail Mary: To honor the descent of the soul of Our Lord into hell.
Ephesians 4:9: Now that He ascended, what is it, but because He also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
2. Hail Mary: The joy and the release of the ancient fathers who were in limbo.
Hosea 13:14: I will deliver them out of the hand of death. I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be your death; O hell, I will be your bite: comfort is hidden from My eyes.
Zechariah 9:11: You also by the Blood of Your testament have sent forth Your prisoners out of the pit, wherein is no water.
3. Hail Mary: The re-uniting of His Body and Soul in the tomb.
Job 19:25-27: For I know that my Redeemer lives, and in the last day I shall rise out of the earth. And I shall be clothed again with my skin, and in my flesh I shall see my God. Whom I myself shall see, and my eyes shall behold, and not another: this my hope is laid up in my bosom.
Psalm 15:10: Because You will not leave my Soul in hell; nor will You give Your Holy One to see corruption.
4. Hail Mary: His miraculous emergence from the tomb.
Matthew 28:2-4: And behold there was a great earthquake. For an angel of the Lord descended from Heaven and coming rolled back the stone and sat upon it. And his countenance was as lightning and his raiment as snow. And for fear of him, the guards were struck with terror and became as dead men.
Mark 16:2-7: And very early in the morning, the first day of the week, they come to the sepulcher, the sun being now risen. And they said one to another: "Who shall roll us back the stone from the door of the sepulcher?" And looking, they saw the stone rolled back. For it was very great. And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed with a white robe: and they were astonished. Who says to them: "Be not affrighted, you seek Jesus of Nazareth, Who was crucified. He is risen: He is not here. Behold the place where they laid Him. But go, tell His disciples and Peter that He goes before you into Galilee. There you shall see Him, as He told you."
Luke 24:2-7: And they found the stone rolled back from the sepulcher. And going in, they found not the Body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were astonished in their mind at this, behold, two men stood by them, in shining apparel. And as they were afraid and bowed down their countenance towards the ground, they said unto them: "Why seek you the living with the dead? He is not here, but is risen. Remember how He spoke unto you, when He was yet in Galilee, saying: 'The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and the third day rise again.'"
5. Hail Mary: His victories over death and sin, the world and the devil.
Matthew 4:1-11: Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert, to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterwards He was hungry. And the tempter coming said to Him: "If You be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread." Who answered and said: "It is written, 'Not in bread alone does man live, but in every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'" Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, and set Him upon the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him: "If You be the Son of God, cast Yourself down, for it is written: 'That He has given His angels charge over You, and in their hands shall they bear You up, lest perhaps You dash Your foot against a stone.'" Jesus said to him: "It is written again: 'You shall not tempt the Lord your God.'" Again the devil took Him up into a very high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them, and said to Him: "All these will I give You, if falling down You will adore me." Then Jesus said to him: "Begone, Satan: for it is written: 'The Lord your God shall you adore, and Him only shall you serve.'" Then the devil left Him; and behold angels came and ministered to Him.
John 10:18: "No man takes it away from Me: but I lay it down of Myself. And I have power to lay it down: and I have power to take it up again. This commandment have I received of My Father."
Acts 2:24: Whom God has raised up, having loosed the sorrows of hell, as it was impossible that He should be holden by it.
Romans 6:9: Knowing that Christ, rising again from the dead, dies now no more. Death shall no more have dominion over Him.
1 Corinthians 15:20-23: But now Christ is risen from the dead, the firstfruits of them that sleep: For by a man came death: and by a man the resurrection of the dead. And as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive. But every one in his own order: the firstfruits, Christ: then they that are of Christ, who have believed in His coming.
1 Corinthians 15:54: Death is swallowed up in victory.
Colossians 2:14-15: Blotting out the handwriting of the decree that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken the same out of the way, fastening it to the Cross. And despoiling the principalities and powers, He has exposed them confidently in open show, triumphing over them in Himself.
Hebrews 2:14-15: Therefore because the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself in like manner has been partaker of the same: that, through death, He might destroy him who had the empire of death, that is to say, the devil: And might deliver them, who through the fear of death were all their lifetime subject to servitude.
6. Hail Mary: The four qualities of His glorious Body (Impassibility, Subtlety, Agility, & Clarity).
Wisdom 3:7: The just shall shine, and shall run to and fro like sparks among the reeds.
Isaiah 40:31: But they that hope in the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall take wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
Matthew 13:43: "Then shall the just shine as the sun, in the Kingdom of their Father."
Luke 21:18: "But a hair of your head shall not perish."
Luke 24:39: "See My hands and feet, that it is I Myself. Handle, and see: for a spirit has not flesh and bones, as you see Me to have."
John 20:19-20,26-29: Now when it was late the same day, the first of the week, and the doors were shut, where the disciples were gathered together, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst and said to them: "Peace be to you." And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. The disciples therefore were glad, when they saw the Lord. ... And after eight days, again His disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Jesus comes, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst and said: "Peace be to you." Then He said to Thomas: "Put in your finger hither and see My hands. And bring hither the hand and put it into My side. And be not faithless, but believing." Thomas answered and said to Him: "My Lord and my God!" Jesus said to him: "Because you have seen Me, Thomas, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen and have believed."
1 Corinthians 15:43-44: It is sown in dishonor: it shall rise in glory. It is sown in weakness: it shall rise in power. It is sown a natural body: it shall rise a spiritual body.
Philippians 3:20-21: But our conversation is in Heaven: from whence also we look for the Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ, Who will reform the body of our lowness, made like to the Body of His glory, according to the operation whereby also He is able to subdue all things unto Himself.
7. Hail Mary: The power that He received from His Father in Heaven and on earth.
Daniel 7:13-14: I beheld, therefore, in the vision of the night, and lo, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of Heaven, and He came even to the Ancient of Days: and they presented Him before Him. And He gave Him power, and glory, and a Kingdom: and all peoples, tribes, and tongues shall serve Him: His power is an everlasting power that shall not be taken away: and His Kingdom that shall not be destroyed.
John 5:26: "For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has given to the Son also to have life in Himself."
8. Hail Mary: His appearances to His Mother, His apostles and disciples.
Mark 16:9: But He rising early the first day of the week, appeared first to Mary Magdalen; out of whom He had cast seven devils.
Acts 1:3: He showed Himself alive after His passion, by many proofs, for forty days appearing to them, and speaking of the Kingdom of God.
Acts 10:40-41: Him God raised up the third day and gave Him to be made manifest, not to all the people, but to witnesses preordained by God, even to us, who ate and drank with Him, after He arose again from the dead.
9. Hail Mary: His discourses on Heaven and the meal that He had with His disciples.
Luke 24:41-49: But while they yet believed not and wondered for joy, He said: "Have you here anything to eat?" And they offered Him a piece of a broiled fish and a honeycomb. And when He had eaten before them, taking the remains, He gave to them. And He said to them: "These are the words which I spoke to you while I was yet with you, that all things must needs be fulfilled which are written in the law of Moses and in the prophets and in the psalms, concerning Me." Then He opened their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures. And He said to them: "Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer and to rise again from the dead, the third day: And that penance and remission of sins should be preached in His Name, unto all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things. And I send the promise of My Father upon you: but stay you in the city till you be endued with power from on high."
Acts 1:4: And eating together with them, he commanded them, that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but should "wait for the promise of the Father, which you have heard" (says He) "by My mouth."
10. Hail Mary: The peace, the authority and the mission He gave them to go out into the whole world.
Matthew 28:18-20: And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: "All power is given to Me in Heaven and in earth. Going therefore, teach all nations: baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world."
John 20:21-23: He said therefore to them again: "Peace be to you. As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." When He had said this, He breathed on them; and He said to them: "Receive the Holy Ghost. Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them: and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained."

May the grace of the Mystery of the Resurrection come down into our souls. Amen.

Glory be...
O my Jesus...

The Ascension of Jesus Christ
We offer Thee, O Lord Jesus, this twelfth decade in honor of Thy triumphant Ascension, and we ask of Thee, through this Mystery and through the intercession of Thy holy Mother, an ardent desire for Heaven, our true home. Amen.

Our Father: The unlimited omnipresence of God.
Psalm 138:7-10: Whither shall I go from Your Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from Your face? If I ascend into Heaven, You are there: if I descend into hell, You are present. If I take my wings early in the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea: Even there also shall Your hand lead me: and Your right hand shall hold me.
Jeremiah 23:24: "Shall a man be hid in secret places, and I not see him?" says the Lord. "Do not I fill heaven and earth?" says the Lord.

1. Hail Mary: To honor the promise that Jesus Christ made to His Apostles to send them the Holy Spirit and the command He gave them to prepare to receive Him.
John 14:26: "But the Paraclete, the Holy Ghost, Whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things and bring all things to your mind, whatsoever I shall have said to you."
John 16:7: "But I tell you the truth: it is expedient to you that I go. For if I go not, the Paraclete will not come to you: but if I go, I will send Him to you."
2. Hail Mary: The gathering of all His disciples on the Mount of Olives.
Matthew 28:16: And the eleven disciples went into Galilee, unto the mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
3. Hail Mary: The blessings He gave them as He rose from the earth towards Heaven.
Luke 24:50-51: And He led them out as far as Bethania: and lifting up His hands, He blessed them. And it came to pass, whilst He blessed them, He departed from them and was carried up to Heaven.
4. Hail Mary: His glorious Ascension by His own power into Heaven.
Psalm 67:19: You have ascended on high, You have led captivity captive; You have received gifts in men. Yea for those also that do not believe, the dwelling of the Lord God.
Isaiah 63:1: Who is this that comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bosra, this beautiful One in His robe, walking in the greatness of His strength. I, that speak justice, and am a defender to save.
Acts 1:9: And when He had said these things, while they looked on, He was raised up: and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
Ephesians 4:10: He that descended is the same also that ascended above all the heavens: that He might fill all things.
5. Hail Mary: The welcome and triumphant acclaim which He received from God, His Father and from all the Heavenly court.
Psalm 46:6: God is ascended with jubilee, and the Lord with the sound of trumpet.
6. Hail Mary: The triumphant power with which He opened the gates of Heaven through which no mortal had passed.
Micah 2:13: For He shall go up that shall open the way before them: they shall divide and pass through the gate, and shall come in by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the Lord at the head of them.
7. Hail Mary: His being seated at the right hand of His Father as His beloved Son equal to His Father.
Psalm 15:11: You have made known to me the ways of life, You shall fill me with joy with Your countenance: at Your right hand are delights even to the end.
Mark 16:19: And the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into Heaven and sits on the right hand of God.
Romans 8:33-39: Who shall accuse against the elect of God? God is He that justifies: Who is he that shall condemn? Christ Jesus that died: yea that is risen also again, Who is at the right hand of God, Who also makes intercession for us. Who then shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation? Or distress? Or famine? Or nakedness? Or danger? Or persecution? Or the sword? (As it is written: "For Your sake, we are put to death all the day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.") But in all these things we overcome, because of Him that has loved us. For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor might, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ephesians 1:19-20: And what is the exceeding greatness of His power towards us, who believe according to the operation of the might of His power, which He wrought in Christ, raising Him up from the dead and setting Him on His right hand in the Heavenly places.
Colossians 3:1: Therefore if you be risen with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God.
Hebrews 1:13: But to which of the angels said He at any time: "Sit on My right hand, until I make Your enemies Your footstool?"
8. Hail Mary: The power He received to judge the living and the dead.
Job 36:17: Your cause has been judged as that of the wicked, cause and judgment you shall recover.
Proverbs 20:8: The King, that sits on the throne of judgment, scatters away all evil with His look.
John 5:22,27-30: For neither does the Father judge any man: but has given all judgment to the Son. ... And He has given Him power to do judgment, because He is the Son of man. Wonder not at this: for the hour comes wherein all that are in the graves shall hear the voice of the Son of God. And they that have done good things shall come forth unto the resurrection of life: but they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of judgment. I cannot of Myself do anything. As I hear, so I judge. And My judgment is just: because I seek not My own will but the will of Him that sent Me.
9. Hail Mary: His last coming upon earth when His power and majesty will appear in all their magnificence.
Matthew 24:27-31,36-51: For as lightning comes out of the east and appears even into the west: so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Wheresoever the body shall be, there shall the eagles also be gathered together. And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of heaven shall be moved. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in Heaven. And then shall all tribes of the earth mourn: and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of Heaven with much power and majesty. And He shall send His angels with a trumpet and a great voice: and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest parts of the heavens to the utmost bounds of them. ... But of that day and hour no one knows: no, not the angels of Heaven, but the Father alone. And as in the days of Noah, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For, as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, even till that day in which Noah entered into the ark: And they knew not till the flood came and took them all away: so also shall the coming of the Son of man be. Then two shall be in the field. One shall be taken and one shall be left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill. One shall be taken and one shall be left. Watch therefore, because you know not what hour your Lord will come. But know this: that, if the goodman of the house knew at what hour the thief would come, he would certainly watch and would not suffer his house to be broken open. Wherefore be you also ready, because at what hour you know not the Son of man will come. Who, do you think, is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has appointed over his family, to give them meat in season? Blessed is that servant, whom when his lord shall come he shall find so doing. Amen I say to you: he shall place him over all his goods. But if that evil servant shall say in his heart: "My lord is long a coming," and shall begin to strike his fellow servants and shall eat and drink with drunkards: The lord of that servant shall come in a day that he hopes not and at an hour that he knows not: And shall separate him and appoint his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Hebrews 9:28: The second time He shall appear without sin to them that expect Him unto salvation.
10. Hail Mary: The justice He will mete out at the Last Judgment when He rewards the just and punishes the wicked for all eternity.
Psalm 9:5: For You have maintained my judgment and my cause: You have sat on the throne, Who judge justice.
Matthew 25:31-46: And when the Son of man shall come in His majesty, and all the angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the seat of His majesty. And all nations shall be gathered together before Him: and He shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats: And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on His left. Then shall the King say to them that shall be on His right hand: "Come, you blessed of My Father, possess you the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave Me to eat: I was thirsty, and you gave Me to drink: I was a stranger, and you took Me in: Naked, and you covered Me: sick, and you visited Me: I was in prison, and you came to Me." Then shall the just answer Him, saying: "Lord, when did we see You hungry and fed You: thirsty and gave You drink? Or when did we see You a stranger and took You in? Or naked and covered You? Or when did we see You sick or in prison and came to You?" And the King answering shall say to them: "Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to Me." Then He shall say to them also that shall be on His left hand: "Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, which was prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave Me not to eat: I was thirsty and you gave Me not to drink. I was a stranger and you took Me not in: naked and you covered Me not: sick and in prison and you did not visit Me." Then they also shall answer Him, saying: "Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not minister to You?" Then He shall answer them, saying: "Amen: I say to you, as long as you did it not to one of these least, neither did you do it to Me." And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting.
Romans 14:10-12: But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written: "'As I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee shall bow to Me and every tongue shall confess to God.'" Therefore every one of us shall render account to God for himself.

May the grace of the Mystery of the Ascension come down into our souls. Amen.

Glory be...
O my Jesus...

We offer Thee, O Lord Jesus, this thirteenth decade in honor of the Mystery of Pentecost, and we ask of Thee, through this Mystery and through the intercession of Thy holy Mother, the coming of the Holy Spirit into our souls. Amen.

Wisdom 8:1: She [Wisdom] reaches, therefore, from end to end mightily, and orders all things sweetly.
Wisdom 14:3-4: But Your providence, O Father, governs it: for You have made a way even in the sea, and a most sure path among the waves, showing that You are able to save out of all things, yea, though a man went to sea without art.
Matthew 10:29: Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father.
Romans 13:1-2: Let every soul be subject to higher powers. For there is no power but from God: and those that are ordained of God. Therefore, he that resists the power resists the ordinance of God. And they that resist purchase to themselves damnation.
Ephesians 1:11: In Whom we also are called by lot, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him Who works all things according to the counsel of His will.

1. Hail Mary: To honor the truth of God the Holy Spirit proceeding from the Father and the Son and Who is the love of the Godhead.
John 16:13-15: But when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will teach you all truth. For He shall not speak of Himself: but what things soever He shall hear, He shall speak. And the things that are to come, He shall show you. He shall glorify Me: because He shall receive of Mine and shall show it to you. All things whatsoever the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He shall receive of Me and show it to you.
2. Hail Mary: The sending of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles by the Father and the Son.
John 15:26: "But when the Paraclete comes, Whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth, Who proceeds from the Father, He shall give testimony of Me."
3. Hail Mary: His descent accompanied by the sound of a great wind which shows His might and power.
Acts 2:1-2: And when the days of the Pentecost were accomplished, they were all together in one place; and suddenly there came a sound from Heaven, as of a mighty wind coming, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
4. Hail Mary: The tongues of fire He sent to the Apostles giving them an understanding of the Scriptures and love of God and neighbor.
Acts 2:3-12: And there appeared to them parted tongues, as it were of fire, and it sat upon every one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they began to speak with diverse tongues, according as the Holy Ghost gave them to speak. Now there were, dwelling at Jerusalem, Jews — devout men, out of every nation under Heaven. And when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded in mind, because every man heard them speak in his own tongue. And they were all amazed, and wondered, saying: "Behold, are not all these that speak Galilean? And how have we heard, every man our own tongue wherein we were born? Parthians and Medes and Elamites and inhabitants of Mesopotamia, Judea, and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews also, and proselytes, Cretes, and Arabians: we have heard them speak in our own tongues the wonderful works of God." And they were all astonished, and wondered, saying one to another: "What does this mean?"
5. Hail Mary: The fullness of grace which the heart of Mary, His faithful spouse, was privileged to receive.
Luke 1:26-28: And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God into a city of Galilee, called Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David: and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel being come in, said unto her: "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you: blessed are you among women."
6. Hail Mary: The marvelous guidance He gave to all the saints and even to the person of Jesus Christ during all His life.
7. Hail Mary: The twelve fruits of the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23: But the fruit of the Spirit is, charity, joy, peace, patience, benignity, goodness, longanimity, mildness, faith, modesty, continency, chastity. Against such there is no law.
8. Hail Mary: The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 11:2-3: And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him: the Spirit of wisdom, and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel, and of fortitude, the Spirit of knowledge, and of godliness. And He shall be filled with the Spirit of the fear of the Lord, He shall not judge according to the sight of the eyes, nor reprove according to the hearing of the ears.
9. Hail Mary: To ask especially for the gift of wisdom and the coming of His Kingdom into men's hearts.
Jeremiah 9:23-24: Thus says the Lord: "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, and let not the strong man glory in his strength, and let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, for I am the Lord that exercise mercy, and judgment, and justice in the earth: for these things please Me," says the Lord.
Wisdom 7:28-30: For God loves none but him that dwells with wisdom. For she is more beautiful than the sun, and above all the order of the stars: being compared with the light, she is found before it. For after this comes night, but no evil can overcome wisdom.
1 Corinthians 1:30-31: But of Him are you in Christ Jesus, Who of God is made unto us wisdom and justice and sanctification and redemption: that, as it is written: "He that glories may glory in the Lord."
Colossians 4:5: Walk with wisdom towards them that are without, redeeming the time.
James 3:17-18: But the wisdom that is from above, first indeed is chaste, then peaceable, modest, easy to be persuaded, consenting to the good, full of mercy and good fruits, without judging, without dissimulation. And the fruit of justice is sown in peace, to them that make peace.
10. Hail Mary: To be victorious over the three evil spirits that are opposed to Him, namely the spirit of the flesh, of the world and of the devil.
Luke 4:13: And all the temptation being ended, the devil departed from Him for a time.
Ephesians 6:10-18: Finally, brethren, be strengthened in the Lord and in the might of His power. Put you on the armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. Therefore, take unto you the armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day and to stand in all things perfect. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth and having on the breastplate of justice: And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. In all things taking the shield of faith, wherewith you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one. And take unto you the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit (which is the word of God). By all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the Spirit: and in the same watching with all instance and supplication for all the saints.

May the grace of the Mystery of Pentecost come down into our souls. Amen.
