Nothing Can Be Infinite In Magnitude

An actually infinite magnitude cannot exist. God, although omnipresent, is not infinite in magnitude; rather, He is infinite in essence. St. Aquinas says (Summa Theologica 1.7.3) that all bodies have a surface, and all these bodies are finite since a surface indicates the finitude of a body. This is also true of surfaces and lines, and so nothing is infinite in magnitude; figures have boundaries.
