Nature of Heaven

There is no marriage in Heaven [Mt 22:30], even though husbands and wives will still know each other and can have a close relationship. There is no pain or sadness in Heaven. We will have physical bodies [Job 19:25-27; Is 26:19; Dan 12:2-3; 1 Cor 15:12-58; Phil 3:21; 1 Thess 4:16-17; Rev 20:4-6] and will be able to eat for pleasure [Mt 8:11; Lk 22:30; Rev 19:9; 22:2], though we will not be hungry [Is 49:10] have to use the bathroom. There is probably no entropy in Heaven (as far as statistical thermodynamics is concerned). People will have differing hobbies and interests although will share the same opinion. In Heaven not everyone is equally intelligent, funny, and witty; however, there won't be any jealousy. We will always be gaining knowledge [Eph 3:18-19]. Discarded embryos and miscarried babies are in Heaven. The mentally disabled and senile receive adult minds. If two people played chess in Heaven, one would lose. Our earthly memories will not be erased but will be healed/cleansed/repaired/restored/redeemed by God's presence. There are plants and animals [Is 11:6; 65:25; 2 Kgs 2:11; Rev 6:2-8; 21:1] in Heaven. There is private property in Heaven [Mt 6:20; Lk 16:4,9; 2 Cor 5:10; Col 3:24; Rev 2:17]. We will actively serve and worship God [Rev 7:15]. Yet we will experience relax, rest, and leisure [Rev 14:13].
