I had a good time doing organized plyometrics for the first time as part of my conditioning for basketball camp and spring and summer league (and, in the long term, cross country). The running was fine and I jumped over boxes a few times until I decided to stop because my left knee hurt. It is still very painful, perhaps worsened due to patellar tendinitis and Osgood Schlatter's disease. Although injuries often result from improper technique, I did the technique the coaches told me to. It'll take some time before I can do extended jumping totally pain-free.
